YSS-Cup 2021: IPBL Cricket Tournament begins across Distt Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Under the banner of YSS-Cup 2021 and under the leadership of Director YSS J&K Gazenfar Ali, Inter Panchayat Block Level (IPBL) Cricket Tournament was Wednesday kick-started across the different blocks of District Kishtwar.
District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma declared the IPBL tournament open at Block Thakarie in presence of Sports Fraternity and PRIs.
In his address, the DDC said that Kishtwar has vast treasure of cricket players with superb talent but they need to hone their talent which can be done by the sports department.
He appreciated the Sports department Kishtwar for organizing different events throughout the session.
He directed cricket experts to select best players and ensure all talented youth to take part in sports and games to bay off the bad habits like drugs, smoking etc.
Similarly, a large number of Players marked their participation in tournament at the block Padder, Mughal Maidhan, Palmar, Nagsena and Drabshalla.
ManoharLalSarpenchPanchayatGulabGarhPadder, RakeshDogra Principal HSS Mughal Maidan, Touseef Ahmed Sarpench Lower Palmar and Masood MatooPanch inaugurated the tournaments at concerned places.
Majority of Panchayat teams of each block participated in the tournament under the supervision of their respective ZPEO’s & block incharges.
At block Kishtwar, IPBL cricket tournament was inaugurated by DYSSO KharatiLal at Chowgan ground.
