University VCs have to ensure quick, successful , simultaneous implementation strategy of NEP 2020: Prof. Akbar Masood

Rajouri : Vice-Chancellor , Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri , Prof. Akbar Masood said that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 which came almost after three decades (34 years) of the last education policy will be a game changer in transforming the Education system of the country. Prof. Akbar was speaking as the chief speaker during a panel discussion on the role of Vice Chancellors in implementation of NEP 2020, organised by National Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit University , Delhi. Prof. Akbar said that the NEP 2020 aims to provide high quality equitable and inclusive education that will help in transforming the future generations of the country . Prof. Akbar said that the NEP 2020 provides guidelines for the education of all so that all, regardless of their diverse learning needs and background, can be successful in developing and realizing the full human potential.
Prof. Akbar said that Vice Chancellors have to ensure quick, successful and simultaneous implementation strategy of NEP 2020 so that the vision of a student and knowledge-centric education system with credit transfers across institutions becomes a reality. Prof. Akbar said that being the academic leaders , Vice Chancellors have a pivotal role to play in the smooth implementation of NEP 2020 in letter and spirit to get the desired results of National Education Policy 2020 by the Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi. Prof. Akbar mentioned that the implementation of NEP 2020 is critical to keep up with emerging trends which are leading to faster and more profound changes in the social and cultural milieu.
