Registrar Cooperatives convenes meeting on CAPEX Budget, deliverables of Deptt for 2022-23

Stress laid on achievement of deliverables in a time-bound manner

Srinagar : The Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K, Shafqat Iqbal Wednesday chaired a meeting of the officers of the Department, wherein CAPEX Budget 2022-23 and the deliverables to be achieved during the current year were discussed in detail and Officers were sensitized to accomplish the desired targets in a time bound manner.
It was informed in the meeting that an allocation of Rs. 15.00 Crore has been allotted for CAPEX Budget 2022-23 which comprises of different heads for promotion of the Cooperative Sector and strengthening of the Cooperative Movement in J&K.
He stressed upon the officers of the Department to judiciously expend the funds provided under CAPEX Budget and work with sincerity and dedication to achieve the desired targets fixed so that the benefits of the scheme of the Department reach to the general public for improving their socio- economic conditions.
Further, the officers were stressed upon to register new Cooperative Societies/ Cooperatives as per targets assigned and ensure field visits and convene awareness programmes to aware the public about the schemes and programmes, so that public especially the unemployed educated youth get benefit of the schemes of the Department.
The meeting was attended by Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies Jammu/Kashmir, Joint Registrar (Audit/Special) Cooperative Societies Jammu/Kashmir, Accounts Officer, Direction Office, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, and District Audit Officers & General Managers of the Super Bazars.
The officer stationed at Jammu attended the meeting through virtual mode.
