On the occasion, ACD Kupwara Mehraj-u-din Shah presented a detailed overview of the physical and financial progress of the various RDD schemes under implementation across all blocks of the district. Moreover, in the ‘Housing for All’ Programme around 3500 PMAY cases have been sanctioned in the district.
Director, RDD Kashmir urged the officers to closely monitor the implementation of the schemes on ground in coordination with the elected Panchayat representatives and ensure that identified works for the FY-2022-23 are executed early and completed within the timelines. He also stressed on the implementation of the AmritSarovar Mission-an initiative aimed at developing and rejuvenating 75 water bodies in each district and urged the officers to work towards achieving it by or before August 15, 2022.
