Mega Health Mela organized at SDH Tangdar

Kupwara : Health Department Kupwara Monday organized a Mega Health Mela at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tangdar which was inaugurated by SDM Karnah, Dr.Gulzar Ahmad Rather.
Speaking at the occasion, the SDM appreciated the health department for conducting the mega health mela in the subdivision. He appealed to people to get maximum benefit under the Mega health mela. He also sought support from all the people of the border subdivision for complete elimination of drug abuse in Karnah.
BMO Tangdar, Health experts and doctors provided detailed awareness to the participants about different diseases and their prevention and treatment.
Other speakers including SHO Karnah highlighted the importance of good health and hygiene in daily lives of the people.
Different stalls relating to Health and wellbeing were installed at the venue.
Meanwhile, about 750 patients were provided free health check-up and treatment by the doctors.
BMO Tangdar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Qureshi; concerned Officers and Doctors, besides, PRIs and a large number of people attended the day-long Health Mela.
