Spl Gram Sabhas organized across Bla to watch live Prog of Prime Minister

B’la: In connection with National Panchayat Raj Divas 2022 being celebrated throughout the country, Rural Development Department Baramulla Sunday organized special Gram Sabhas across the district aimed to ensure the virtual participation of the people by watching the special address of Prime Minister NarendraModi.
The Prime Minister is on his visit to Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the auspicious occasion of National Panchayat Raj Divas 2022 with the PRIs and other prominent stakeholders.
Pertinent to mention that scores of PRIs from district Baramulla along with the functionaries of Rural Development Department attended the mega function in Samba district of J&K.
Furthermore, it is to mention that yesterday district Baramulla was declared the winner of DeenDayalUpadhyayPanchayatSashaktikaranPuraskar (DDUPSP) under District Panchayat Category by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Govt of India. Similarly, Block Narwah under Block Panchayat Category and Gram PanchayatTakiyaBatpora of Block Kunzer were also declared the winners of National Panchayat awards. The awarded money was formally transferred to the respective District, Block and Panchayat by the Prime Minister at the event.
