Baramulla: Mega health Mela of Medical Block Boniyar was celebrated at tehsil office Boniyar . Event was inaugurated by SDM Uri Sub Division Harvinder Singh. A team of WHO also visited at the event site ( Dr Dilip and Dr Sweta). Twenty two (22) below mentioned stalls were made for display:
General OPD, Gyne OPD, Orodental OPD, Non comunicable disease stall, RBSK stall, RNTCP stall, ENT counter, Ophtho counter, Orthopaedic counter, Golden card/ health card counter, Ayush medical stall, Family welfare stall, Basic life support stall, Covid awareness stall, 108 ambulance awareness Medical mobile unit comprising of in built X Ray / Lab /OPD,Free drug counter. Other departments including Agriculture, Hoticulture, ICDS, Food Safety, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Social Welfare. Yoga session was demonstrated and it’s benefits were explained. School children participated in health skids and health awareness among masses. 1390 people participated in health mela . 621 points were consulted by expert faculty and free diagnostic , treatment and medicine was provided to people who had com from far-flung area of Boniyar, Chotali ,Maidanan,Tourna Darakunjan Dudran and Mayain Lachipora Salambad.
