Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government on Sunday said that 12 fresh positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) including 05 from Jammu division and 07 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 453990. It however said that as no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4790.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that 09 more COVID-19 patients from Kashmir division have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Sunday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 5,116 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,25,77,241.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453990 positive cases, 53are Active Positive (32in Jammu Division and 21in Kashmir Division), 449186 have recovered and 4751 have died; 2328 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24891503 test results available, 453990 samples have tested positive and 24437513 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 18,185 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6440319 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29201persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 53in isolation and 496548 in home surveillance. Besides, 5909766 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Sunday, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 07freshcases, Srinagar reported 02 fresh cases and Baramulla reported 03 fresh cases while as no other district across Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach the national helpline by dialling 1075.
