Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Saturday said that 3 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 2 from Jammu division and 1 from Kashmir valley reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 453978. It however said that as no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4750.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that 8more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 01 from Jammu division and 08 from Kashmir division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Saturday, thusthe total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 22,833doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,25,659,68.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453978 positive cases, 50are Active Positive (25in Jammu Division and 25in Kashmir Division), 449177 have recovered and 4751 have died; 2328 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24873318 test results available, 453978 samples have tested positive and 24419340 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 18,682 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6437503 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29536persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 50in isolation and 495798 in home surveillance. Besides, 5907368 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Saturday, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 03freshcases and Srinagar reported 01 fresh case while as no other district across Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
