Gram Swaraj Mahina: AHD Anantnag organizes Spl KCC camp at Aishmuqam

Anantnag : The Department of Animal Husbandry Anantnag Friday organized a special KCC camp/drive at Aishmuqam to provide Kisan Credit Cards to dairy farmers.
The camp was attended by CAHO Anantnag, LDM Anantnag, representatives from other line departments and representatives from local bank branches.
The officials briefed the dairy farmers about the benefits of holding KCC cards and 30 cases were sanctioned on the spot.
While interacting with farmers, the CAHO said that the department is committed to facilitate and support the farmers for their upliftment and farmers must come forward to benefit from the schemes of Government.
He emphasized that dairy farming is a lucrative economic activity and farmers must take up this activity to augment their incomes. He said several schemes are being run by the government for promotion of dairy sector and awareness camps are being organized on a regular basis throughout the district.
