Take care of deadlines, quality in completion of works : SMC Comr tells Officers of Works Divn

Srinagar| April,22 : Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Athar Amir Khan on Friday held a detailed review meeting with Works Division of SMC under different account heads.

According to an official statement issued from SMC’s Public Relations Office the meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Adn SMC, Joint Commissioner Works, FA/ CAO, S.E Drainage, ADP, Xens’s of Right River works and left River Works, officials and other officials.

During the course of meeting Commisioner SMC Athar Aamir stressed on timely completion of works and strictly directed the concerned to maintain quality of works including lanes drains and tile works etc. While reviewing various works of each sub division, Athar said Quality audit of works in progress including the completed works needs to be conducted. He also reviewed Head wise Physical/ Financial status of works including city drainage division and passed on directions to expedite with all the works that are in place and meet the deadlines already set for completion of various works. The Physical Financial status of major projects under city grants , SMRDA projects(Srinagar Metropolitan Regional Development Authority) were also reviewed on the occasion.
