Block Health Mela organised at Reasi

Reasi : In consonance to the grand move of the Union Ministry of health and Family Welfare, a block Health Mela was Thursday organised here at Girls Higher Secondary School on the directions of Deputy Commissioner.
DDC Chairman, Saraf Singh Nag was the chief guest on the occasion.
The mela was attended by Vice Chairperson DDC SajraQadir; Deputy Commissioner BabilaRakwal; PO-ICDS RenuKumari; FPO Udhampur/ReasiKhursheedYousaf; CMO Dr Rajeev Sharma and other district officers.
The pivotal part of the Block Health Melas includes making available multi-speciality consultation for the locals, AB-PMAY (Golden Cards) registration and provisioning the services and schemes of the departments working in coordination with Department of health and Medical Education, like AYUSH, ICDS, Youth Services and Sports and Education. All these departments are working in tandem with each other to meet the objectives of Block health Melas.
This Block health Mela was organised in convergence with the ICDS Department.
The CDPO Reasi and other officials of ICDS Department gave demonstrations on POSHAN Vatikas and showcased different cooked nutrition recipes.
