Workshop on PM’s Spl Scholarship Scheme held at PG College for women GN

JammU : An interaction programme for Principals of Government Degree Colleges and Government Polytechnic Colleges of Jammu Division regarding Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme(PMSSS) Session 2022-2023 was conducted Wednesday in the Auditorium at Padma Shri Padma Sachdev, Govt. P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar.
The training Workshop was conducted for the Principals of Degree Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges of Jammu Division. Prof R.K Ganjoo, Assistant Director, Head, PMSSS, AICTE, New Delhi accompanied by Prof A jitAngral, Consultant (PMSSS) U.T of J&K and U.T of Ladakh AICTE New Delhi briefed the participants about the workshop.
Prof R.K Ganjoo gave a brief presentation on the scheme and status of PMSSS counselling for the year 2022-2023. The participants were briefed about the facilitation centre established for documentation verification. Prof Ganjoo discussed in detail about do’s and don’ts regarding PMSSS. He informed about the forthcoming workshops for nodal officers of schools and colleges of Jammu Division as well as aspiring students. 71 Principals of degree colleges of Jammu Division attended the workshop offline and 16 of them attended online.
The welcome address was given by Principal Dr.SangitaNagari and formal vote of thanks was Dr Neetu Raina, Assistant Professor in Education. Stage was conducted by Prof Sugandha Mahajan, Assistant Professor in Botany.
