Srinagar|April, 20: The cleanliness drive of Dal Lake organized by the J&K Lake Conservation and Management Authority continued on the 12th day Wednesday in an enthusiastic way under the ATHWAS initiative of the government.
Wednesday, Mehmood A Shah, Director Industries and Commerce (I&C) participated in the initiative of Dal Cleaning drive by removing the weeds from the lake.
The Director I&C said that Dal Lake is our recognition, our pride and we all should keep it clean. He also appreciated the efforts taken for the maintenance of the lake and appraised that such drives are the need of an hour to keep our Dal clean and healthy.
He was joined by 25 students from Degree College Bemina who also participated in the drive and removed huge amounts of weed from the lake.
Collector, Ex. Engineer and Project Officer of LCMA welcomed the guest and also took part in cleaning the lake.
