Srinagar : A wreath laying ceremony for HC Surinder Kumar of Railway Protection Force killed in a militant attack on last Monday outside Railway Station Kakapora area of Pulwama was on Tuesday held at District Police Lines Srinagar.
According to a police statement, Civil & Police Officers led by DG GRPF Sanjay Chander& IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to slain cop for his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Among others, DIG CKR Srinagar Sujit Kumar, DIG CRPF North Randeep Kumar Raina, DIG CRPF South Mathew A. John, SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal, SSP Railways Kashmir Harmeet Singh and other officers & officials of Police and Security forces paid rich floral tributes to the slain cop.
