Shopian : The District Health Society (National Health Mission) Shopian in collaboration with Department of Youth Services and Sports District Shopian Tuesday organised a ‘Health Mela’ in Block Keller, here.
During the Mela, the Chief Guest Block Medical Officer Keller, briefed the participants about the importance of health and physical exercise in our life.
A number of students from Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Keller and officials of the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Shopian, Zone Keegam performed yoga and demonstrated the various exercises to the participants and the close links between physical exercise, mental equilibrium and the ability to enjoy life.
The officers and officials of District Youth Services and Sports and Health Department were present.
