Srinagar,Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Tuesday said that 9 freshpositive case of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) including 5 from Jammu division and 4 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours raised number of positive cases to 453955.It however said that no new covid death was reported from anywhere in last 24 hours in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4790.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that 12more COVID-19 patients from Kashmir division have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Tuesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that22,422doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,24,68,702.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453955 positive cases, 64are Active Positive (12in Jammu Division and 52in Kashmir Division), 449140 have recovered and 4751 have died; 2328 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24797184 test results available, 453955 samples have tested positive and 24343229 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 17,189 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6421913 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 30670 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 64 in isolation and 493604 in home surveillance. Besides, 5892824 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Tuesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar and Baramulla reported 02 cases each while as Budgam, Bandipora, Anantnag, Kupwara, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Ganderbal reported no fresh cases for Tuesday.
Similarly, the bulletin informs that Jammu district reported 05 fresh cases Tuesday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
