Jammu : DIG Indian Reserve Police Jammu granted in situ promotion to 100 police personnel including Head Constables and Selection Grade Constables of various battalions of IRP Jammu Zone. The personnel have been promoted upon completing a minimum of nine years of service with ‘clean service record’ according to terms of SRO 14 of 1996.
The Departmental Promotion Committee meeting held Saturday under the chairmanship of DIG IRP Jammu cleared promotion of 13 Head Constables and 87 Selection Grade Constables.
The DIG congratulated the promoters and their families on their elevation and has asked them to continue working with dedication and commitment towards achieving the organisational goals. He also encouraged them to perform duties with added zeal to win laurels for the force, particularly in the light of everyday challenges.
