Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Saturday visited Dhanorepanchayat of Rajouri block and inspected a number of developmental works completed under different schemes.
He was accompanied by the ACD, Vijay Kumar and BDO Rajouri, Chander Kant Bhagat during his visit.
While inspecting the developmental works, the DDC asked the concerned officers to keep working with the same zeal to meet the developmental expectations of the rural population. He also stressed on maintaining quality while executing work on the developmental projects.
DDC also visited the site where the work on the GOBAR-Dhan project is to be executed in the panchayat and apprised the locals about various benefits of the projects.
While highlighting the importance of the GOBAR-Dhan project, he said that the project was launched as a part of the Biodegradable Waste Management component under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) (SMB-G) and it aims to positively impact village cleanliness and generate wealth and energy from cattle and organic waste.
Interacting with the locals, he said that the District Administration is working hard to take the developmental profile of the rural areas to new heights and concrete measures are being taken to push every sector to make the Govt services easily accessible to the general public so that they don’t face any inconveniences.
Seeking the active cooperation of the people in the developmental process, the DDC appealed to them to work shoulder to shoulder with the District Administration for the overall development of their areas.
