Kupwara : Under the chairmanship of Chairperson District Development Council Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori 5 standing committees for Finance, Development, Public Works, Health & Education and Welfare, besides, Biodiversity Management Committee were constituted Saturday in Meeting Hall of D.C.Office Kupwara.
VC DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir; DC Kupwara, Imam Din; CEO DDC, Altaf Ahmad Khan, DDC Members and BDC Chairpersons, besides, concerned officers were present on the occasion.
All the committees were constituted amicably and responsibility of each committee was discussed during the meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman DDC impressed upon the members of the committees to come up with the role of the committees constituted in light of J&K Panchayati Raj Act to deliver their best.
VC DDC also spoke and urged upon the members to work with close coordination for overall development and prosperity of the district.
DC Kupwara in his address congratulated the council members for being constituted in different committees.
