Gram Swaraj Month: RDD & PR disseminate message of Nasha Mukti

Kathua : The Iconic Week Celebrations going on under ‘Gram Swaraj Month’ in the district is gathering place wherein Rural Development Department has carried out activities including NukkadNatak in collaboration of Cultural Unit of DIPR J&K, sanctioning of PMAY AWAS plus, PMAY SECC house completion and GEM registration of Panchayat level vendors.
At Block Billawar, a NukkadNatak was organised by BDO Billawar on the topic of NashaMukti with the theme of ‘Healthy Village’.
The team (Artists) of NukkadNatak portrayed the essence of healthy living by staying away from Drugs and adopt healthy lifestyle to stay fit. They also put forth the consequential effects of including in Drug addiction which engulfs the society in general and family in particular and jeopardize the social existence.
ACD Kathua Kishore Singh Katoch informed that as on date a total of 202 PMAY Awas Plus Sanctioned, a total of 182 PMAY SECC houses have been completed whereas a total of 206 out of 257 panchayats have been saturated with MGNREGA job cards.
He further informed that heritage plan of 67 panchayats have been prepared besides 28 panchayat vendors have been registered on GEM portal.
