Kishtwar : With an aim to digitize the Panchayats as prescribed under the 100 point programme of the Gram SwarajAbhiyan rolled out by J&K Government, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma Thursday inaugurated first of its kind model Common Service Centre (CSC) in PanchayatGharBhagna-C of Block Nagseni.
DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal; Tehsildar Nagseni Majid Jehangir; BDO NagseniAbhayIndu Sharma; District Managers, CSC Suman Kumar and Parveez Ahmed; District Coordinator Shagufta Malik, SarpanchPanchayatBhagna-C, local PRIs, staff of RDD besides other concerned were also present on the occasion.
This is the first Model Common Service Centre in the district which is equipped with latest facilities including laptops, desktops, and printers including PVC and internet connection to provide a number of digital services to the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC announced that all the 136 Panchayats of the district will be provided Model CS centres in a phased manner.
He said that the locals can avail almost all digital services including PAN card, e-SHRAM, Aadhar, Golden cards under Ayushmaan Bharat, Passport, Election card Voter ID services, cash withdrawal and cash deposits, insurance schemes and other government sponsored schemes at the centre.
He asked the CSC functionaries to maintain the centre well and aware the people about the services they can avail here.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also listened to the grievances of PRIs present on the occasion and assured them that their genuine issues/demand will be redressed promptly.
He directed TehsildarNagseni to conduct public grievance redressal camps on regular basis to provide relief to the people at their door step.
While reviewing the status of the Gram SwarajAbhiyan activities, the BDO apprised the DC Kishtwar that Panchayat secretariats have been established in maximum Panchayats of the block besides other prescribed activities including cleanliness drives under SBM, NashaMukhtAbhiyan, Aadhar registration and seeding, awareness and saturation camps of Welfare Schemes etc are in full swing across all the Panchayats.
