Distt Capex Budget plan – 2022-23 discussed in Rajouri

April, 14: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Thursday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the annual action plan under District Capex Budget 2022-23.
Officers who attended the meeting included ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; ACD, Vijay Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; SE PWD, NissarHussain; CMO, Dr Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti and other concerned officers.
At the outset, the meeting was given a detailed overview with regard to the preparation of the Action (development) plan for the financial year 2022-23 as enshrined in the guidelines issued by the finance department.
Speaking at the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned departments to formulate the plan in consultation with the PRI members and as per the needs of their areas and submit the same at the earliest so that work on the proposed projects can be started timely.
While stressing upon the officers to explore all the avenues for capital expenditure, he also asked for incorporating workable and efficient inputs and data for a rational and proper formulation of the plan proposals.
He also said that timely formulation of development plans will help to take up the works in time and subsequent utilization of budgetary provisions within stipulated time frame.
The DDC also directed the departments to project only those works/projects which benefit maximum people and could be completed in stipulated time frame as per the guidelines of the Finance department.
