Panchayats across Block Kharah Balli organize multifarious activities under Gram SwarajAbhiyan

Jammu : As a part of month long Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, multifarious activities were conducted in Panchayatsacross block KharahBalli by department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in collaboration with other line Departments, PRIs institutions and locals under the close supervision of Panchayat mentors.
In various Panchayats of Dori, Kharah, Battal, Dager, Mallah massive cleanliness drives were conducted by the locals and the PRI members in collaboration with the Department of Rural Development.
Panchayat secretariats were setup and inaugurated at Panchayats. Gram Sabhas were held and Sthapna divas resolutions were passed in all panchayats. Cleanliness pledge was observed and a rally for the green surroundings was conducted at Dori.
Water bodies were cleaned at various places in the block. Child-friendly village, Healthy village, Poverty free and Enhanced livelihood water sufficient village, good governance, socially secured gram Panchayat, self-sufficient infrastructure, clean and green village will be focused upon by the Panchayats concerned. A Child health and Poshan Awareness &Aadhar seeding camp was held at Mallahpanchayat.
