Handicraft deptt conducts awareness cum registration Camp at Palli

Samba : The Department of Handicrafts, Samba on Tuesday organized an awareness camp cum registration drive in PanchayatPalli of block Bari Brahmana for the people of the village.
At the outset of the event, Assistant Director Handicrafts Niharika welcomed the people present and apprised them about the different ongoing departmental schemes.
During the program, HTO Sushil Kumar asked the participants to come forward to register with the department and avail the benefits of schemes like credit card scheme for artisans/weavers, financial assistance scheme to cooperative societies, Karkhandar scheme etc.
A small exhibition was also hosted to give the people an idea of the ongoing departmental trainings in the district like bamboo and calico.
Among others, SubashChander HTO, Amit Kumar AHTO, Pushpinder Singh AHTO, Gar Singh AR, Vijay Singh and Shashi Kumar along with locals were also present at the event.
