Dist Admin Shopian holds Block Diwas at Mini-Sectt

Shopian : The District Administration Shopian Wednesday organised Weekly Block Diwas at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here to listen to the grievances of the people of Shopian and Keller Blocks in order to take prompt resolutions of the issues.
The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya presided over the Block Diwas programme.
During the programme, the Public representatives and locals of the area put forth their grievances and demands regarding provisions of drinking water, electricity, ration, road connectivity and houses under PMAY etc.
The DDC gave a patient hearing and directed the concerned officers to resolve their issues in a time bound manner. Many grievances were redressed on the spot, while DDC assured that the rest of them would be redressed on the priority basis.
The Additional District Development Commissioner, ManzoorHussain; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; Chief Planning Officer, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana; DDC, Members, Chief Education Officer, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Assistant Director, Planning and Block level officers were present on the occasion.
