Block Divas meetings among varied activities mark Day 13 of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in Kishtwar

Kishtwar : District Kishtwar witnessed multifarious activities on the 13 Day of Gram SwarajAbhiyan launched under the 100 point programme rolled out by the Jammu and Kashmir Government.
The events were held under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma and under the guidance of ADDD Sham Lal.
The Line Departments, in collaboration with the Department of Rural Development &Panchayati Raj carried out a number of prescribed activities at various places across the district.
At the block headquarter Drabshalla, six departments hosted a public outreach and redress camp wherein the locals highlighted their grievances.
Their issues were resolved in coordination with concerned departmental officers present in the camp.
Besides, the locals were also enlightened about the various activities to be saturated under the 100 points programme during the Gram SawrajAbhiyan.
Similarly, awareness cum Grievance Redressal Camp was also organised at block office Paddarin the presence of SDM Varunjeet Singh Charak.
Meanwhile a NashaMukht Bharat Abhiyan programme was hosted at GHSS Chatroo and at BustandChatroo under the management of Department of Social Welfare led by District Social Welfare officer Tariq ParveazQazi. On the occasion, the students, staff members and Drivers were sensitised about the growing drug menace as a social evil in our society.
A Megha Yoga session was conducted at SDM School Kishtwar by Yoga Therapist Anil along with Sr pharmacist Raj Kumar in which scores of students and teachers took part under the banner of GSA.
District Social Auditor Kishtwar conducted social audits under Gram Swaraj month in Panchayats of Jar, Atholi and Gulabgarh of block Paddar. The people in large numbers participated and extended full support in making the system more transparent.
A Revenue Camp was also organised in PanchayatBhata (Sigdi) where villagers were made aware about “AapkiZameenAapkiNaigrani” facility and many locals were trained individually to browse, view and download their revenue record. Besides, 18 inheritance mutations were arrested on spot by NaibTehsildarSigdi.
