Srinagar : The cleanliness drive of Dal Lake continued on the fifth day Wednesday under the ATHWAAS initiative of the government.
Wednesday the drive was started by Dharitri Panda, Controller General of Accounts and ShakeelMaqbool ICAS by removing the weed from the Lake.
Besides, 25 students from Amar Singh College also participated in the said drive.
Forest Officer Trainees from Telangana Forest Academy Hyderabad who were imparting training for one day of LCMA activities have also participated in the cleanliness drive with full enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharitri Panda congratulated the LCMA for initiating this drive and impressed upon all the stakeholders and people in general to give their full support for cleaning of our liquid heart.
Meanwhile Officer Trainees from Telangana also appreciated the working of LCMA and said that this session and also this drive of cleanliness will prove fruitful.
