GDC Ramban hosts first Intra College Push up & Sit up Rolling Trophy

Ramban: Department of Sports and Physical Education, Government Degree College Ramban Tuesday organized First Intra-College Push up & Sit up Men Rolling trophy under the aegis of “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav.
The tournament was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Dr Ranvijay Singh in the presence of the participants, teaching anon-teaching staff of the college.
In his Address, the Principal Dr Ranvijay Singh applauded the effort of the sports committee of the college for holding the event. He also appreciated the students for their participation in the event. Karnail Singh and Rajinder Singh of 2nd semester stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof Vijay Kumar, Convener Sports of the college while the vote of thanks was presented by Prof Vickey Rattan.
As many as 32 students participated in the event out of which Sachin Singh of 2nd Semester clinched the first Intra-college Rolling trophy title by performing 46 push up & 1300 Sit Up in Men category.
The Physical Director of the college took this initiative for the students of the college.
Later, the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Prof.Satish Thakur, Dr Bharat Singh, Dr VikramRathore, Dr Vinod Kumar, Prof Kamaljeet Singh, Prof BansiLal, Prof Balkrishan, Prof Younis Ahmad , Prof Ajaz Ahmed, Prof AnkurDogra distributed trophies among the winner and runner-up players. Consolation prizes & certificates were also distributed among all participants.
