Kishtwar : The progress in meeting the developmental indicators under the Aspirational Block Development programme rolled out in two blocks of Marwah and Warwan of the district Kishtwar was Tuesday reviewed here at a meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Sham Lal, in his office Chamber.
On spot uploading of data and benchmark certification was also concluded during the meeting attended by SDM Marwah Dr MohsinRaza; DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar; DFO KishtwarSagar Singh; DSEO KishtwarAkhil Thakur; DSWO Kishtwar Tariq ParveazQazi; CAO S K Bhagat, besides Dy CMO Kishtwar, DSHO Kishtwar, XEn PMGSY Marwah, representatives of RDD, FS&CA and Education department.
The ADDC took sector wise review of the implementation of different schemes and programmes in Marwah and Warwan Blocks- chosen for Aspirational Block Developmental programme to ensure the expeditious improvement in socio-economic uplift of these areas.
The guidelines and parameters were also shared with the officers and they were instructed to work in tune with the sameto achieve the set benchmarks under ABDP.
Reiterating the aim of ABDP, the ADDC Kishtwarstressed to focus on poverty alleviation, promotion of education, basic infrastructure, agriculture development, health and nutrition needs in these blocks besides asking all to work with synergy.
Meanwhile DSEO Kishtwar was asked to revisit the plan and submit it in a time bound manner to higher ups.
The ADDC appreciated the efforts of the Social Welfare Department for achieving 100 percent saturation of the Old age pension scheme and PCP in these blocks.
Meanwhile, XEn PMGSY was directed to accelerate the pace of blacktopping of roads, enhance road networks/connectivity in these backward areas as these are the key indicators of development.
Furthermore, the CAO, CAHO, DSHO to gear up the agriculture and allied sector activities rolled out under the umbrella schemes “SAMPAN” in the convergence mode so that the same percolate down to the grassroots level in effective manner.
Besides, the heads of agriculture and allied sectors were also directed to host 3 mega awareness camps in each of these two blocks to achieve 100 percent Saturation of pro-farmers schemes.
While reviewing the health sector, the Dy CMO was directed to personally visit the twin blocks and resolve the issues pertaining to the functioning of the health sector in close liasoning with SDM Marwah.
The SDM Marwah was directed to monitor the developmental activities and conduct fortnightly meetings to review the progress.
