96 Mumkin, 369 Tejaswani cases approved in Doda

31 vehicles worth Rs 2.36 crore provided to beneficiaries

Doda : District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) for implementation of Mission Youth Schemes Mumkin and Tejaswani Tuesday met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma here in his office chamber to assess the applications received from the applicants through online mode.
During the meeting, after thorough scrutiny of the applications, the DLIC approved 96 new cases under the Mumkin scheme and around 369 cases under Tejaswani scheme.
The DDC directed the nodal department to immediately send the details of beneficiaries to the banks to facilitate the verification before the training and for smooth sanctioning and disbursement. He further asked to devise a calendar in coordination with the JKEDI for imparting training to Tejaswani applicants.
While responding to the issue of insufficient manpower in JKEDI, the DDC directed the nodal department to send a communication to their higher authorities in this regard so that the training of all the approved/sanctioned applicants was conducted in the stipulated time frame. He further asked JKEDI to formulate the DPRs of all the beneficiaries in a fixed timeline and as per prescribed guidelines.
With regard to the other MY scheme- Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative, the DDC directed the members to brainstorm the new innovative ideas to rope in beneficiaries to invest in the new and innovative trades.
Earlier, the District Development Commissioner Vikas Sharma gave away keys of 31 vehicles under the MUMKIN Scheme at DE&CC Office, Doda.
The DDC interacted with beneficiaries of the scheme and lauded the efforts of the employment department for timely disbursement of the cases.
It is pertinent to mention here that till now a total 94 vehicles have been provided under this scheme in District Doda.
Among others present in the meeting were GM DIC Doda Khalid Malik, Deputy Director Employment Mohd Idrees Lone, DIO Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani, DSWO Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone, ARTO Doda ErKuldeep Singh, AD Employment Sushant Mahajan, besides Zonal Manager JK Bank, District Nodal officer EDI, and other concerned officials.
