DC Ramban reviews status of public grievances, asks for quality disposal

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Ramban : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Monday chaired a meeting of District Level Public Grievances Redressal Committeeto review the action taken by the concerned departments on the grievances reported on the INGRAMS portal by general public.
The DC reviewed Department-wise disposal of grievances and obtained to-date status.
Chief Education Officer, DevAnand, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mohammad Freed Bhat, Dy. CMO, Dr. Iqbal Bhat, ALC, Naresh Kumar, AD, FCS&CA, BDOs, complainants and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The DC also discussed grievances which are on the INGRAMS portal with the concerned officers in presence of complainants and sought prompt and quality redress of the same.
The DC stressed upon officers of the concerned departments to look into the issues reported by the general public on priority and co-ordinate citizen-friendly solutions at their own level.
