DC Kupwara inspects H&WC Sholoora, hears public issues

Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Monday visited the Kralpora area and inspected the functioning of the Health & Wellness Centre (H&WC) Sholoora.
The DC on the occasion inspected various sections of the Health Centre including OPD, Laboratory, Yoga room and Drug Store. He interacted with doctors and paramedical staff, besides, interacted with patients and enquired about the health services being provided by the hospital administration.
It was informed that 23 drugs and 6 diagnostic servicesare currently available in the health centre. Besides, teleconsultation, screening for non-communicable diseases and yoga facility are also provided to the patients.
Later, the DC interacted with local people and heard their day to day issues.
He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Kupwara and concerned officers during the visit.
