Srinagar /April, 9: Police on Saturday said that one local militant has been killed in an encounter with Government forces in Sirhama area of Anantnag district and an operation is also on in ChakiSamad area of Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam district.
On it’s twitter handle Kashmir Zone Police said that one local militant of Lashkar-e-Taiba militant outfit has been killed in an encounter with government forces in Sirhama of Anantnag district, adding therein that search is in progress and further details are awaited. Kashmir Zone Police in it’s tweet also said that however no militant has been killed in Chaki Samad area of Damhal Hanjipora in Kulgam district but operation is still underway here and further details are awaited.
