DDC Udhampur reviews implementation of social security schemes

Udhampur| District Development Commissioner Udhampur, InduKanwalChib Friday reviewed the implementation of Social Security Schemes here at a meeting of district officers and Bankersheld in Mini-Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, MudassirYaqoobZargar; ACD, Dharam Paul; DSWO, Kanika Gupta; DSEO, Darshan Kumarbesides other district officers and Bankers.
The DDC took extensive review of the saturation of social security schemes ofthe Government of India like Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan MantriSurakshaBimaYojana, Pradhan MantriJeevanBimaYojanaetcin detail.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC directed the officers to work in close coordination with the banks for implementation of schemes in letter and spirit. She directed them to provide all essential services to the people and generate mass awareness about the social security and poverty alleviation schemes of the government. She exhorted the bankers to organize awareness camps in rural areas of the district in consultation with PRIs to inform the rural populace about the financial inclusion schemes.
