DC Kupwara visits Ziyarat Zeet-i-Shah Wali Drugmulla, Reviews arrangements & land dispute

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Friday visited Drugmulla to take stock of the arrangements put forth at ZiyaratZeet-i-Shah WaliMoqam for the devotees.
On the occasion, the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply to the shrine so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
Meanwhile, Imam Din also convened a meeting with the Auqaf Committee members and local people regarding a land dispute.
The DC directed the Tehsildar to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and submit the report to his office as early as possible for resolution of the land dispute. He was accompanied by the concerned officers during the visit.
