Rajouri : The ten days training for the first batch of Tejaswini scheme beneficiaries concluded Thursday here in Rajouri.
The training was conducted by the JKEDI Rajouri, wherein 40 candidates got training in the first batch.
While interacting with the trainees, the Assistant Director Employment and Counseling Centre, Rekha Rani stressed the need to overcome Unemployment in the district and encouraged the participants to become self-reliant by starting self-employment ventures.
Highlighting the objective of the scheme, she said that the broad aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to young women for setting up gainful self-employment ventures suited to their skills, training, aptitude and local conditions.
She further expressed gratitude to the participants who had come forward despite all odds to avail the benefits under Tejaswini Scheme and assured every possible support from District Administration in this regard.
Later, training certificates were also distributed by the Assistant Director district Employment and counselling centre Rajouri. The course coordinator and nodal officer of JKEDI were also present during the event.
