JK IMPARD holds interactive session of NCGG officers with SDD trainees in Jammu

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Jammu : The J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD) Wednesday organized an interactive session held by a team of high ranking officers from National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), New Delhi, with the officers of Skill Development Department who are undergoing Capacity Building Program at the Institute.
Director Trainings, IMPARD Jammu, Dr. Reva Sharma, welcomed the team of NCGG officers which included Professor Poonam Singh, Director, NCGG; Dr. B. S. Bisht, Associate Professor; and Dr. A. P. Singh, Associate Professor.
Director NCGG, Dr. Poonam Singh highlighted the role of NCGG in Capacity Building of entire administrative machinery of the country.
She also spoke about the growing collaboration between NCGG and J&K IMPARD in various areas like Mid–Career trainings of the Senior JKAS Officers, formulation of DGGI and so on.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. P. Singh, Associate Professor, informed the trainee participants that the NCGG is a premier training institution functioning under the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
Dr. B. S. Bisht, Associate Professor, Ms. Supriya Kohli, Deputy Director, IMPARD, Jammu Dr. Ruchi Gupta, Course Coordinator, Mr. Chaman Lal Pandita, Estates Officer, Mr. Ramesh Chander Administrative Officer and other officers were also present during the session.
