DFCO Ramban seals 3 unauthorized medical shops

Ramban : Drug and Food Control Organization, Ramban Wednesday carried out an extensive inspection in far flung areas of Tehsil Rajgarh.
The inspection team inspected medical shops in the villages including Bhartund, Trihal, Budni, Thatta, Grala, Rajgarh Town, Chuchatter, Chakka, Bibrota, DiyarGali, Gharagrath, Sulli, Kumate, Sharava and Dahandla.
During the inspection, the team sealed 3 unregistered medical stores being operated at Bhartund/Trihal, Gralla & Kumate.
The inspection team also inspected registered medical stores located in Rajgarh and its adjoining areas. Out of 06 retail sale outlets, the operation of 03 retail medical stores was disallowed/closed on the spot for violation of the conditions of drug licenses as mandated under the relevant provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940.
The Drug and Food Control Organization, Ramban requested the local people to cooperate and keep an eye on persons/Medical Stores indulging in unauthorized sale of intoxicating drugs to the youth.
Meanwhile, the team shared Phone No./Watsapp No with the Locals/People so as to make contact any time to deal with such unethical trade practices.
