DC Reasi chairs public grievances redressal Camp at Panchayat Panasa

Reasi : Continuing the public outreach campaign under the weekly Block Divas program, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal Wednesday listened to the people’s issues here at Panchayat Ghar Panasa.
The Deputy Commissioner assessed the response of the public towards various developmental initiatives being implemented by the administration in the Area. The Deputy Commissioner also listened to the grievances projected by the PRIs and public and simultaneously issued directions to the concerned quarters for early disposal of the same.
The camp was attended by DDC Abdul Rashid; BDC Rajinder Singh; ACD Anirudh Rai; CEO Dr Mohammad Aziz; AD Fisheries Sanjesh Gupta; CAO Sudhir Singh; DSHO P.P.Sagotra; CHO Brij Vallabh; Legal Metrology Officer Pushkar Raj, besides other district officers along with PRIs , BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
The DC Reasi interacted with the PRIs and locals, listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redress of genuine issues.
The PRIs and Public put forth their demands seeking streamlining of Minor mineral Rates, meeting shortage of Staff in Health Centre Panasa and Higher Secondary School Panasa, Medical SubCentre at Panasa, ensuring presence of BDO in the office, working of BDO office for 15 days in a month at Panasa , filling of vacancies in BDO office Thakrakote, enhancement in Pension, establishment of Grid station and opening of bank branch at Panasa and restart of local Metadoors
After listening to Public Grievances, the DC addressed all the important issues raised by the public one by one and motivated the public to avail the benefits of various important government schemes meant for them.
Multitude of issues related to Water, Power, Road, Transport, Ration, Nutrition, Education, Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers and for several other issues DDC fixed timeline for their resolution.
While reviewing the development works, Babila Rakwal directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing developmental projects in a stipulated time frame.
Meanwhile, the DC Reasi also inaugurated the Panchayat secretariat at Panchayat ghar Panasa.
