Covid- 19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4750

Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Thursday said that 11 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) reported in last 24 hours from Kashmir division raised the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453838.It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir and J&K’s overall covid death toll as such stayed at 4750.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 03more COVID-19 patients from Kashmir division have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals, stating therein further more that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 15,513doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,22,51,476.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453838 positive cases, 167are Active Positive (15in Jammu Division and 152in Kashmir Division), 448921 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 24527760 test results available, 453838 samples have tested positive and 24073922 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 25,243 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6365774 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 30255persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 167 in isolation and 486664 in home surveillance. Besides, 5843938 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 09 cases, Budgam and Kupwara reported 01 case each while as Bandipora, Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam, Baramulla, Shopian and Ganderbal reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, the bulletin informs that no fresh cases were discovered from any district of Jammu Division for Wednesday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
