Men in uniform have to be ready for any situation, Says DG Dilbag at BSF constables pass out parade

Jammu : Director General Police Dilbag Singh on Saturday told constables of BSF at a passing out parade of it’s constables that they( pass out constables of BSF) equipped with fighting skills and military spirit are not only capable of guarding the borders of the country, but they are also ready to fulfill the responsibility of internal security with dedication and passion.
Speaking on the occassion the J&K Police chief said that he was extremely happy to attend the parade and extended his heartiest congratulations to all constables on the successful completion of their basic training. He said that 626 constables who completed their training must be fully prepared to take up the responsibility of defending the borders of our country. The spectacular display of their military capability and their passing out parade was commendable, the DGP added.
Singh said that today is a very important day of life for all these Jawans as they are joining a very disciplined and professionally proficient force which is known as first line of defence. Surely the hard work done during training will be remembered as a memory in your heart in times to come, the DGP added. The DGP said that as men in uniform we have have to be ready for any situation and advised the passouts to work with full determination and understanding, adapting to the circumstances. “I am fully confident that Subsidiary Training Centre, Udhampur, through its high level training has made you mentally and physically strong border guards, as well as fully capable to face the challenges in adverse situations”.
Singh advised the passouts to use the knowledge and techniques passed on by the instructors wisely while discharging the professional duties. Today’s high standard drill speaks for your high-end training, strength and confidence. With your dedication, hard work and discipline of top class you will proudly hold the heads of the countrymen high, the DGP said. He wished good luck to the pass outs and hoped that they will always serve the nation by performing their duties honestly and sincerely.
The DGP On the occasion congratulated parents and family members of the passouts and said that it’s is because of their inspiration and guidance these passouts are here today. He congratulated Pradeep Katyal, Inspector General,BSF and staff of Subsidiary Training Center and the dedicated team of instructors for moulding the passouts into an alert, courageous and dedicated border guards. He distributed awards among the constables who were adjudged best in various training activities and also congratulated them. ADGP Security Dr S.D.Singh, DIG Suliaman Choudhary, SSP Udhampur Vinod Kumar, and officers from Civil and CAPF attended the Passing out parade.
