Navratras, Ramadan arrangements reviewed in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Kishori Lal Sharma Friday chaired a joint meeting of Officers and religious heads to review arrangements for Navratras and Ramadan.
President Sanatan Dharm Sabha and Imam Jamia Masjid (Majlis-e-Shura) besides other religious representatives attended the meeting here at VC Room of DC Office complex.
ACR Kishtwar Akhter Hussain Qazi, Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramood Kumar, XEn PHE Anil Kailu,EO MC Kishtwar Tariq Hussain Balwan, besides other Officers were present in the meeting.
The representatives of the religious, social organizations asked for uninterrupted water and power supply, adequate security arrangements, better sanitation and strict check on quality and rates of essential commodities during the Holy occasions.
The ADC directed the officers of all concerned departments to work in a synergized manner for the convenience of the common people.
The ADC directed Tehsildar Kishtwar, FCS&CA authorities and EO Municipal council, Designated Officers of Food Safety departments to constitute joint teams and checking squads to intensify market checking and take strict action against the hoarders and black marketers. He further impressed upon the officers of police and traffic department to ensure effective traffic Management in the township. Tehsildar Kishtwar was asked to ensure the SOPs and Covid preventive measures are followed strictly for the safety of people.
