DDC Poonch discusses plan proposals under Disttt Capex Budget 2022-23

Poonch : District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet Friday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the annual action plan under District Capex Budget 2022-23.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner,Poonch, Abdul Sattar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah; ACP, Shafiq Mir; CHO, Satvir Singh; CMO, Dr. G.A Malik; EO Municipality, Mushtaq Hussain; Chief Education Officer, Abdul Majid; Manager NRLM,AD Planning, M.A Khan; Executive Engineers of different departments, all BDOs and other concerned officers.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner gave a detailed overview with regard to the preparation of the Capex Budget for the financial year 2022-23 as enshrined in the guidelines issued by the finance department.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to formulate their annual plans in consultation with concerned PRIs, BDCs and DDCs as per the needs of their areas by or before 30th of April, 2022, so that work on the proposed projects can be started timely.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the departments to project only those works/projects which benefit maximum people and could be completed in stipulated time frame as per the guidelines of the Finance department.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to educate the general public about various schemes and programs being implemented by different departments for their welfare and motivate them to avail the necessary benefits of the same.
The Deputy Commissioner told the concerned departments that all the ongoing works which are expected to be completed during the year 2022-23 or at the most in succeeding year should be prioritized in the capex budget 2022-23.
