Kulgam : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Friday inaugurated a playfield at Laisoo, here.
This is a maiden playfield in the village and was a demand from youth of the area to provide them a platform for sports activities and the demand was fulfilled by District Administration within a shortest time frame.
The Executing agency for the project was Rural Development Department and the playfield has been developed with an estimated cost of 9.40 lacs.
ACR, ACD, Tehsildar Headquarter and other officers besides scores of people and players were present at the inaugural function.
