Police accords warm send-off to retiring officers on superannuation

Srinagar : To accord a warm send-off to the officers who superannuated from active services, Police organize several farewell functions in Sopore, Budgam, Pulwama and Kulgam.
According to a police statement in Sopore, SP Sopore SudhanshuVerma organized a farewell party and accorded a warm send-off to the superannuated officers. Speaking on the occasion SP Sopore appreciated the work and dedication of the officers towards their duties. He applauded their sincerity and punctuality towards their duties. He also assured them that the doors of police department shall remain always open for retired officers for any kind of assistance or help.
Stating further that in Budgam, the superannuated officer SI Ghulam Ahmad Banday of Budgam Police has been presented with memento as a token of love and respect for his exceptional services spanning over more than three decades, police in it’s statement further said thart Dy SP DAR DPL Budgam Owais Rashid and other officers participated in the function. DySP DAR while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing officer, conveyed his best wishes to the retiring officer and prayed for his good health and success post-retirement.
In Pulwama, a farewell party was organised at DPL Pulwama where a memento was presented to superannuated officer SI Mohd Yousuf by SSP Pulwama Gh Jeelani Wani. SSP Pulwama appreciated the work and dedication of the officer towards his duty. He extended good wishes and healthy post retirement life. In Kulgam, Police hosted an impressive farewell function at DPL Kulgam to bid adieu to the superannuating officers.
Officers and officials of Kulgam Police participated in the function who wished them healthy post-retirement life. The superannuated officers while thanking the department for such an impressive send-off also addressed the function and shared their year’s long experience in the department.
