DC Kulgam reviews functioning of Rev Deptt

Kulgam : To review the functioning of Revenue Department and to ensure efficient and prompt public service delivery in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Thursday chaired a meeting of the Revenue Department in the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, here.
The meeting held detailed discussion on various issues including progress of jamabandi, Custodian land and making Patwarkhanas functional.
Dr Bilal said that the performance of Revenue Officers will be strictly monitored on the parameters of updataion of Revenue records.
He asked all the Tehsildars to ensure quality disposal of all online/offline Grievances including Migrant properties in a time bound manner.
The DC directed the Revenue authorities to intensify anti-encroachment drives across all the tehsils of the district to ensure that encroachment on state and kahcharai land is removed.
The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, all tehsildars of the district besides other officials.
