Sopore: A person was killed while two others were injured in a road accident at Bulgam area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Officials said that the the trio were critically injured after an Army vehicle collided with a mini-tractor on Sopore-Srinagar road near Choora.
The officials said that the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries while the condition of other two is said to be stable.
He identified the deceased as Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, son of Mukhtar Ahmad Ganai, of Choora Pattan while the injured have been identified as Yaseen Lone, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Lone and Hilal Wani, son of Ghulam Qadir Wani of Pulwama.
Meanwhile, a police official confirmed the incident and said that a case has been registered and investigation has been started in this regard
