GDC Kulgam organizes College Annual road race

Kulgam : The Government Degree College (GDC) Kulgam Wednesday organised the College Annual Road Race for Boys. Around hundred students of the College participated in the event.
The event was flagged-off by the Principal of the College, Prof (Dr.) Nazir Ahmad Simnani. Several dignitaries from District Administration, Police and College Staff were also present on the occasion.
The race started from College Campus at 6:30 am and culminated at TuliNowpora Main Bus Stop at 7:00 am.
Sumir Ahmad Bhat (4th Sem) bagged 1st Position while Showkat Aziz (4th Sem) and ZahidGulzar Wani (2nd Sem) secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Later, a Prize distribution ceremony was held in the College Campus.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal highlighted the importance of Sports activities for overall personality development of students.
