Srinagar : A meeting of Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir ( EJCC ) was on Monday held under the chairmanship of Chairman Aijaz Ahmad Khan during which Khan urged the government to announcement a comprehensive action plan for regularisation of thousands of government employees.
The meeting started with the discussions and deliberations regarding regularization of the jobs of thousands of temporary employees, including fair price shop dealers and shali store workers, who have been working tirelessly, diligently and with dedication in various Government Departments from last decades.
Presenting a comprehensive coalition on the issue, Khan who is the Chairman of EJCC Kashmir said that a comprehensive and systematic strategy needs to be formulated for the regularization of 61,000 temporary employees including fair price shop dealers, workers so that the legitimate demands of temporary employees can be brought before the government with full force.
Khan said that EJCC is fully committed to making every program of the Daily Wagers a grand success. Khan appealed Lieutenant Governor of J&K to pay a sympathetic consideration to the long pending matter of regularization of services such workers who have been serving the Departments since long.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Aijaz, Ishtiyaq Beigh, Javid Ahmad Akhoon, Shoiab Munshi, Farooq Ahmad Kawa, Mohd Younis Matoo, Rahmatullah Khan, Showkat Ahmad Nowshehri, Abdul Quyoom Beigh, Inayat Nowshehri, Sher Ali , Tasleema Subhan , Feroz Ahmad Najjar, Kumail Haider and Muhammad Iqbal Kanth.
